Gloop

Gloop is a cute and laid-back 3D puzzle-platformer. It follows the adventure of a little slime set on finding a tape collection - owned but lost by their skater-bear friend, Beauregard. It's up to the player to see this journey through, using shape-shifting and merging, along with other slimmy mechanics.

Made in Unreal Engine 5

Done with 5 other people

(3 artists, 2 sound designers and 1 level designer)

Coded mostly in C++, using UE Blueprints for UI and minor mechanics

Main design goals

- Making a laid-back and accessible experience, while still keeping the difficulty engaging -

- Achieving a healthy balance of platforming and puzzle elements, without hindering the game's flow -

- Making each shape the player can morph into feel unique, while still respecting mechanical cohesion -
